I took 400mg today with lunch, and I noticed I got very dizzy shortly after taking the higher dose within an hour. It was almost like the dizziness I had when I was on percocet after surgery, could only lie down and couldn't think clearly. Plaquenil.long do I have to wait? DailyStrength I'd like to report that I never have symtoms or flares anymore, but I do, but I think the Plaquenil makes the difference between being a sick person pre-plaquenil and a normal person who occationally feels sick. I was able to function again, as in go to work, after about a year and a half.

Photosensitivity A Side Effect of RA Medications Photosensitivity, also called sun sensitivity, is an inflammation of the skin caused by a combination of certain chemicals and exposure to the sunlight. 1 Some medications commonly taken for RA may contain these light-activated chemicals. Exposure to either the light or the chemical alone is not enough to cause the reaction.
