    It's used to treat and prevent malaria infection, and to reduce symptoms and progression of autoimmune diseases such as lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, and others.   5. I used Plaquenil years ago for extreme muscle and joint issues and it seemed to work fine. All my issues were resolved over a years time on low doses. I believe my problems started with side effects of a statin, which I stopped taking during my Plaquenil treatment but resumed after symptoms were resolved.

    Quin Dosing Trtmt F - WETWEBMEDIA I've been treating my FOWLR display tank with Chloroquine phosphate since April 30th for my quinine resistant strain of C. irritans. The fishes have all appeared to tolerate this medication very well and no more ich after one week of Chloroquine. Yay!
